McBride at Stony Brook scores 10 versus Delaware in Lacrosse !

In Stony Brook’s game against Delaware in lax this past week some kid McBride from Canada hung TEN GOALS on the Hens!!! That’s ridiculous at any level, let alone what should be top 25 D-1 lacrosse. Anyone else ever witness something as embarassing as that?

To NCAA or Not to NCAA.. I apologize to ALL MEN for dropping the NCAA Hoops Ball !

Every year when the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament starts I get all excited and decide I’m going to watch EVERY game..Bar none. Then the tournament starts and I start losing interest until the Final Four, and then I get mildly interested again,and watch pretty much the remaining games. But I’m really pissed this time because I did it again. I got psyched up.. Watched every first round game with fervor and then my interest fell off and I missed some really great games. The GEORGETOWN collapse ( Why does John Thompson Jr, get a pass for that one), STANFORD game Sat night, UCLA’s wicked comeback, and many more games that I probably missed too. The only reason I knew about the afore mentioned games was I heard all my buddies talk about them on Monday ..PATHETIC ! So here’s my Promise to all GUYS. I no longer will dismiss 2nd and 3rd round games of the NCAA tournament ! I will watched the Tournament with lust and fervor, and record every second in my memory bank for future discussions, and I will never, never, turn off a game with more then 10 minutes remaining. Apology accepted ?

YANKEES 2008 vs the RED SOX 2008..Yanks win division by 7 !

Dice K will fall off the gift win wagon. Manny is Manny and he is due to implode. And Big Poppy will be tghe Big Poopy !  As for the Yankees . Here it is.  AROD will have another huge year.  Giambi will be the everyday 1st basemen.  Cano, Damon, Duncam, Matsui will get it in gear early and then we have more.  Posada is resigned. Melky has another year under him and Booby Abreau looks svelte and trim early in the year.  Then there is the captain ..Derek Jeter.Nasty ..Nasty..  Add in the young pitchers.  Ian Kennedy, Phil Hughes, and of course Joba Chamberlain.  Moose is due for a comeback year and the only question mark is Andy Petite, and who cares anyway.  As the chips fall, Yanks pull away the last 2 weeks of the season and win the AL East by 7 games.  Book it !

Pissed Off No.6, Billy Crystal aka Eddie Gaedel signs one day contract with NY Yankees !

Ahhh I smell Bill Veeck , remember the little Eddie Gaedel dude (can’t say midget anymore) ? Shame on the Yankees. What would the YANKEE CLIPPER, THE BAMBINO, THE MICK, THE CHAIRMAN BOARD, think of this debacle..Then again those guys were so hammered (except Joe D) that they would prob have liked the idea. Derek Jeter, Arod, and Jorge Posada won’t say anything because it would be a PR nightmare.. So I’ll will say it ..It sux and it pisses me off. C’mon Steinbrenners(George and Hank) , stop the BS You have the greatest franchise in sports history, don’t f,it up with 60 year old dudes who want to get their rocks off playing for 1 day. I know he’s a lifelong YANKEE fan, but so am I . so can I play shortstop during the first game of the ALCS ? Please .. I’ll name one of my KIDS . EDDIE GAEDEL !

DUKE vs NORTH CAROLINA in NCAA Basketball.Is there a better Rivalry ?

I was watching DUKE vs NORTH CAROLINA yesterday and I was thinking..Is there a better RIVALRY or FEUD in College Basketball or Sports in General.. I don’t think so. Please help me find the best RIVALRIES or FEUDS in COLLEGE basketball to start !

Jockalot would save baseball by Switching 2 teams from NL to AL, then 2 back !

 That’s an awesome idea right. 2 teams a year would switch leagues each year.  2 to the National League and then 2 back to the American.  So for 2008  BOSTON swaps with the Philadelphia Phillies. Imagine The SOX vs the Mets and the Yankees vs the Phillies ? And then the ARIZONA Diamondbacks swap with the ANGELS.  Each team would play all their Inter-league games  with their rivals.  Yankees -Red Sox , Mets-Phillies, etc etc.  The possibility of the YANKEES playing the RED SOX in the World Series is spine tingling , or even the Mets versus the Phillies is just what baseball should be. Perfectly exciting.  what do you guys think ?

It just came across the wires that most likely BRETT FAVRE will retire. Oh God please not again. The last three years we have had to hear different versions of why Brett might retire. Health, Wife’s Health,Spending more Time with family, etc etc STOP THE INSANITY please Big Boy. After your display in the Giants playoff game you should be ashamed. Every dude that knows Football remarked that in the NY GIANTS game it looked like Favre wanted to be in his living room with his feet up against the Fireplace screen watching some other team dismantle the PACKERS. Stop Brett Stop. The Good Ol’ U S of A,, does not care. Maybe Betty Sinofski in Madison, WI cares or Duke Denowski of Appleton , but I don’t and either does the 313,408,755 other people of the country !
