| The NCAA lacrosse tournament has started and in a tribute to how far lacrosse has come over the past couple of years all of the games for the whole tournament are being televised on ESPN and ESPNU. The coverage has been great and displays the way the game has grown from exclusively a NY , maryland thing to a broader demographic with teams like Denver, ohio State , notre Dame , North Carolina making the final 16. There have been a number of very close and exciting games including come from behind victories, for Notre dame over Colgate and UVA over UMBC. I had a few people over the house the other day who are not lacrosse fans , but were hooked on the games once they were seduced by the scary athleticism of the athletes and the incredible pace of the game. lacrosse on the upswing. | |

McBride at Stony Brook scores 10 versus Delaware in Lacrosse !
March 25, 2008In Stony Brook’s game against Delaware in lax this past week some kid McBride from Canada hung TEN GOALS on the Hens!!! That’s ridiculous at any level, let alone what should be top 25 D-1 lacrosse. Anyone else ever witness something as embarassing as that?

March 9, 2008I was watching DUKE vs NORTH CAROLINA yesterday and I was thinking..Is there a better RIVALRY or FEUD in College Basketball or Sports in General.. I don’t think so. Please help me find the best RIVALRIES or FEUDS in COLLEGE basketball to start !
